Vibrant Black n Gold Stabilized Buckeye Burl Combo Pen Blank

A Deep Black with subtle pops of a brilliant gold mixed in.

Blanks measure between 3/4 - 7/8” square by 5” in length.

Mica Powders are used in these blanks

Painting the tube or the inside of the blank is suggested to ensure there’s no chance of the tube showing.

These are stabilized but as with any burl, extreme care must be taken while drilling, turning, and/or sanding. The beautiful nature of burls may also include voids, checks, or inclusions. CA glue may be needed to fill any small inclusions while turning.

Surface inclusions have been filled with the colored Alumilite.

Blanks have been misted to represent what they’ll look like once sanded and a finish applied.
